The 2026 Annual Juneteenth BBQ Cook-Off Charity Fundraiser, hosted by Juneteenth Foundation Inc., will take place on Friday June 19th & Saturday, June 20th, 2026, at 206 CM Allen Plaza Parkway in San Marcos, TX. This multi-day celebration is open to the public and invites everyone to come out and enjoy a day filled with food, culture, and community spirit.
The event features a lively BBQ competition with categories including Youth Pork Chops, Chicken, Fajitas, Margaritas, Cobbler, Ribs, Beans, and Brisket. All cooks must register by May 30th, and follow site rules—only wood or propane cooking is allowed, and official containers will be provided for judging. Winners will be announced at 5:30 PM on Saturday.
In addition to the cook-off, there will be a Domino Tournament Saturday at 11:00 AM, and the grounds will be buzzing with snowcones, food vendors, BBQ plates, crafts, art booths, and live music by the DJ.
